Jenn came over today to help with the ornaments, and now they are done!

Some are better than others.  I have to mail all of the ornaments, and then the organizer sends the entire collection back to me.  I hope I don’t get a crappy one back.

I have a massive burn on my hand from the glue gun.  Massive.  Stuff is oozing from my hand.  I have no band-aids here.

But they are done.

Thank God.

And they look pretty decent, right?  You can tell this is a ram.  Tell me you can tell it’s a ram.

Here’s the thing, I don’t want mine to be the worst, and I’m fairly confident it’s not.  I am thinking middle of the road considering my symbol.  Anyway, I am hoping the rest are really good.  I would hate to get a box of ornaments I don’t like.

Because let’s be clear.  If there is one thing Simplicity Parenting has taught me is to get rid of stuff I won’t use.  And if I don’t like what I get, I know myself well enough to know that I won’t use it.

  1. From Jenn:

    Perfect! But I’m biased.

So you burned your hand on the glue or the gun? And get some bandaids already Momma !:)

Did you make a makeshift bandage of some sort? Hopefully you grabbed a picture of that concoction! 🙂

  2. From Travis:

First off let me say that I enjoy following yoru blog. As a father with 3 kids, it helps to share in some of the trials that kids put us parents through. I am also a fan of what Lance does and have been listening to him for 7 years. I love that you guys work as a team and are so well rounded. Keep it up. Your’re doing a GREAT job as parents. The blog is a great outlet and its fun/funny to read.

Now….. the question was, “You can tell its a ram”? I honestly thought it was a sheep at first glance (dont get pissed) but after looking for the 4th and 5th times, I can tell its a ram. LOL Baaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!! Baaaaaaaa!!!!

  3. From Nicole:

I ended up using tape and a nursing pad! I have a whole box that I have never used b/c thankfully, I have never had a leaking issue. How is that for makeshift?!
It was the glue. Not sure how it happened, was going so well, then all of a sudden, it was on my hand, burning me.

  4. From Nicole:

I saw a picture of a ram the other day…mine isn’t that close, but I am still confident it’s better than half of what I will receive. At least, I hope, for my pride. Plus, and this is key, it was SO CHEAP to make.

Thanks for reading the blog. There is always something going on with our kids. At least it seems that way to me. Lance and I do work well together, and I’m glad it shows through. And thanks for listening to him!
